A man says the Crips, or dangerous people vandalized his property in his quiet neighborhood, and that he is broken. Black Twitter reacts.
A Newton County father says a crime that happened in his normally quiet neighborhood has devastated him.
The man says he got home and noticed his car and garage door had been vandalized.
He told reporters that he was away last weekend when his son called him to tell him someone spray painted their property.
It’s reported that at least 3 houses close to them were vandalized. The man, who chose to stay anonymous said:
“When I got home, I was just puzzled. I was really broken that something like this would actually happen here,”
The Newton County Sheriff’s Office announced that they’re investigating to see if this was gang related.
His neighbor Mary Smith says:
I couldn’t believe it when I saw it ‘cause we don’t have that in this neighborhood. It’s quiet out here
According to the report, there are surveillance cameras, but police have yet to identify any suspects.
The Crips came thru and spray painted “Crips” on everything???
