A video taken at St. Louis daycare shows toddlers brutally beating each other, a mom is currently suing the daycare.
The video has just been obtained by Nicole Merseal, who is just now finding out that her son has participated in a “Toddler fight club” back in December 2016. Nicole said one of her sons, who was 10 years old at the time, told her he was worried about his little brother getting beat up in the next room, so he filmed the video on his iPad.
The video shows the children wearing Hulk fists, pounding each other in the face, and using fighting moves to beat each other. Teachers present during the fight were preparing other daycare toddlers for fights. A teacher is shown in the video putting hulk fists on a child and teeing him up for a fight.
In the video, the only person who tried to stop the fight, is another preschooler who saw that a fight was getting too brutal and a toddler was getting hurt. Every other teacher stood there enjoying the fight.
“He doesn’t understand why his friends were fighting him. Why he was beaten up by his best friends,”
Here’s the video:
The mother told KTIV
“I want them to be held accountable and I don’t want this to happen to any other child,”
Merseal said she contacted the director of the preschool as soon as the video was released. Both the teachers in the video were fired, but the Daycare stayed in operation.
The mother is suing the daycare for more than $25,000, telling ABC
“If I’m not a voice for my children, who will be?”
