Two people were arrested in Alabama after getting into a fight.
Alabama police say a dispute over crab legs at a dinner buffet ended up in a brawl where two people were arrested on misdemeanor charges.
Huntsville police officer Gerald Johnson reported that he was eating at the restaurant when the fight broke out.
Johnson told WHNT-TV that he witnessed the fighters using tongs like they were swords, and started to fence over crab legs, and then the woman and the man started to fight, and the woman starting beating the man.
Johnson told reporters that they had been waiting in line for more than 10 minutes, and they lost their temper once the food was brought out.
Johnson said plates and other things in the restaurant were thrown around as well.
He told WHNT-TV:
“When they finally came out, it’s very heated. Especially if someone is taking more than their fair share,”
The police station reported that Chequita Jenkins was charged with assaulting John Chapman who suffered a cut on his face, and Chapman was also arrested for disorderly conduct.
