A top Nascar driver was caught on video saying the N-Word with a hard R. The video went viral, and Nascar releases a statement.
Kyle Larson was participating in an iRacing event on Sunday and was having trouble with his mic.
While checking if his mic lost communication he asked “You can’t hear me N***er?”

Nascar released a statement today saying they have taken action against Larson:
Chip Ganassi Racing also stated:
We are extremely disappointed by what Kyle said last night during an iRacing Event. The words that he chose to use are offensive and unacceptable. As of this moment we are suspending Kyle without pay while we work through this situ ation with all appropriate parties.
Larson is half Japanese, and used to do short-track racing.
He managed to make it into Nascar through its “Drive for diversity program”, and is the only driver of Japanese descent to win a major Nascar race.
Larson’s other sponsors like McDonald’s, Credit One Bank, and Chevrolet may also be making statements and dropping him. Nascar and Ganassi acted quickly on their statements.
