Museum of Fine arts apologizes to Black students after telling them “No drinks, no food, no Watermelon”.

The Boston Museum of Fine arts came under fire after an staff told a group of students the “rules” of the Museum.

A middle school teacher took to social media to report the racial abuse she says her students went through on the field trip.

Marvelyne Lamy, who teaches the seventh grade at the Davis Leadership Academy in Dorchester, Massachusetts, said her students were racially profiled, and that the staff used language that would specifically offend black people.

Lamy says her class consists entirely of black students, and a few other ethnicities who are non-white.

After the post started going viral, the museum acknowledged that an incident did happen on the trip, and that they started an investigation hours after the students left.
