A man was arrested in Gavelston Texas after he threatened his girlfriend and killed the family pet.
Salinas, age 27, after an argument, ended up stabbing the family cat “Snowflake” 12 times in front of his son, detectives reported. After the incident, maybe in a fit of rage at what happened, the 4 year old son found an Ak-47 that was located in the home, and fired it.
The 4 year old didn’t seem to hit anyone. Salinas took the kids and the animal, and animal control officers found the cat dead in an alley several block away. When Salinas returned home, the cops were there waiting for him.
Salinas was charged with Cruelty to a NonLivestock Animal, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Terroristic Threats to a Family Member. The child and his mother were unharmed. Salinas is currently in the Galveston County Jail with a bond set at $47,500.
