A man who was visiting his girlfriend at a hospital found his girlfriend with her side-man in the same hospital bed.
According to KSAT News, 27-year-old San Antonio man Camilo Medrano went to Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital on October 11th to visit his girlfriend.
The reason for the visit was not disclosed.
When he entered the fifth-floor room where his girlfriend was staying he found another man laying with her in bed.
Medrano reportedly used a sharp object to stab the side-man in the head.
The 33-year-old victim was transported to University Hospital for treatment at its trauma center, and Medrano’s girlfriend reportedly rode with him in the ambulance.
When questioned by police, the woman said she was in a relationship with both Medrano and the victim.
When police arrived Medrano had fled the scene but left a trail of blood which led police officers to believe he must’ve injured himself as well during the attack.
Officers managed to find Medrano on Monday and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
