The people of Nigeria are mourning a man who made an extremely sad post, and was taken away just moments after.
On October 8th, nationwide protests began in Nigeria after a video emerged showing the Special Anti Robbery Squad (Sars) killing a young man.
Sars was formed in 1984 to combat the increase of armed robberies, but the people of Nigeria have stated that it has grown into unit of pure police brutality.
According to accounts people were killed for simply disobeying orders from SARS, for something as simple as not unlocking their phones when asked.
Now the people of Nigeria are protesting and asking that SARS be removed, trending the hashtags #EndSARS, and they’ve reported being met with a massacre by the Nigerian government.
Today, a young man who had a bright future ahead of him had his life taken away after tweeting
“Nigeria will not end me”
His name was Okechukwu Obi-Enadhuze.
Look at the Gifts this country is depriving us… Loooooook😡😡😡😠😠
