A dying girl is currently being treated by modern medicine after a Judge’s ruling.
A 13th month girl was dying in the hands of her parents after being born with Kidney failure.
Specialists told the family she had one chance for survival, and that she needed to undergo Hemodialysis, a process through which blood is cleaned.
The parents told the doctors that she survived this far, and that her faith should be left to god.
The case was taken to court by the doctors and Judge Justice Hayden oversaw the case in the Family Division of London’s High Court.
The mother told the judge:
“She has been fighting death since she was born, We are not in support [of modern medicine].,She has gone through a lot.”
Justice Hayden analyzed the evidence, and gave specialists the go-ahead to try Hemodialysis.
He told the family that the treatment would be in her best interests and said the girl had proved herself to be a “fighter” and had earned “her chance”.
Judge Justice also mentioned that he was impressed by the doctors.
The girl is being treated at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital.
