Dark skinned women are posting their photos to encourage other women not to bleach their skin after another video of a dark skinned woman removing her melanin goes viral again.

A newer video of a dark skinned woman removing her melanin is going viral and people are saddened by colorism continuously spreading throughout African countries. 

Dark skinned women are now trying to fight the trend by showing how proud they are of their skin.

Women have posted their photos to say how proud they are, and how others with their skin should be as well:

A few weeks ago there was another video that went viral after a beauty shop attendant was scraping peeling skin off of a brown skinned woman and revealing the depigmentated skin beneath, and offering it for N30,000:

The colorism that Europeans brought to these countries, and the continuous ways they’ve taught black people to hate their skin for hundreds of years will continue to make people find ways to mimic European skin tones.
