If you were angry about Cyntoia Brown, let’s do the same for Chrystul Kizer.

When it first came light, the story of Chrystul Kizer was presented throughout countless headlines as “Teen who shot man and took a joyride in his BMW”.

They presented the story in different ways, but none showed the truth behind the story, and the story was forgotten. The stories that were written failed to even mention he had been sexually molesting multiple little girls.

Then a 17-year-old girl, Chrystul Kizer killed a man and set his house on fire. She then took a Selfie while still in his house, and later bragged about it on social media.

She was charged with first degree murder, arson, and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Her bail was set at $1 million.

But there was much more to the story.

The man she killed is 34-year-old Randall P. Volar III from Kenosha. At the time he was killed, Volar was under investigation by the Kenosha Police Department for sexual conduct with underage girls.

The statement read to Judge David Wilk read as:

“The defense believes that the discovery in this case suggests that Ms. Kizer acted in self-defense. Mr. Volar, a 34-year-old man, was engaged in the ongoing sexual and physical abuse of Ms. Kizer, then a 17-year-old girl, and several other girls whose identities are currently unknown to the defense,”

Volar transported 17-year-old Kizer from Milwaukee and tried to have sex with her. She resisted when he tried to rape her, and she shot him. Her boyfriend had provided her with the handgun, saying there was a man who kept molesting her, saying he was “tired of the dude touching on her.”

It was reported that Kizer had been struggling at the time and had first met Volar during that time, who took advantage of her by using his power and giving her a place to stay, while also molesting her.

Kenosha Police, in the months before his murder confirmed they had evidence that he had been producing child pornography.

TFC Bank, the bank Volar used, alerted the Kenosha police department that they had flagged Volar’s account under suspicion of being involved in human or sex trafficking.

Chrystul Kizer is stilled confined, and is facing life in prison after killing her abuser.
