A teenager who works at Chik-Fil-A jumped through a drive-thru window and saved a little boy who was choking.
Logan Simmons who works at a Hall County GA branch was working when a pulled up with a 6-year-old choking in the back of a car.
He jumped through the drive-thru window, ran down to the car and jumped through the car’s window.
Logan Simmons said:
I’m still kind of shocked right now myself that all this has happened,”
His mother Teri Simmons said:
“He’d been home for a couple of hours and he said nonchalantly, ‘I saved a kid’s life today,’ and I was like ‘What?’
Logan Simmons continued:
“I just jumped out the window and ran straight down to the car. I think it was the quickest option. It was right there and I saw the other car right there.”
Logan had a pocket knife which he used to cut the seatbelt which had been tangled from around the child’s neck.
Logan said:
You could see he was turning red and losing pigmentation in his face
The child’s mother called Logan about an hour later to thank him.
Logan Simmons said:
“I do feel like a hero.”
