Bow wow’s Lawyer has released a statement on what happened during the incident. Click here to skip to the Lawyer’s statement, or continue reading below what one of the reps reported about the incident, and the details of why the incident took place.
It was recently reported that Shad Moss had assaulted his girlfriend Kiyomi, but there’s apparently may be more to the story.
Although it was reported that Shad Moss assaulted Kiyomi Leslie Holden, and beat her, police had not gotten the full details of the fight.
Police, when they arrested the two in Atlanta on Saturday morning after a fight had been reported between them. Police said they “were unable to determine the primary aggressor of the altercation, so both parties were charged with battery.”
A rep for Shad Moss reported that Kiyomi Leslie was actually the main aggressor during the incident, and Shad Moss was trying to protect himself while Kiyomi was attacking him for something she had been mad about.
It’s reported that Shad Moss and Kiyomi had recently rekindled their relationship and were keeping it on the low.
Recently, the rep reported that Bow Wow was going to superbowl related events and Kiyomi was mad/jealous that he was going without her, allegedly planning events with other people without including her.
The rep said she started attacking him, picked up a lamp and bashed it in his face.
The rep says Shad Moss suffered multiple bruises on his face, a gash on his neck, and has bruised ribs.
The police arrested them both on battery charges.
A spokesperson for the sheriff’s office said:
“Both were able to go before a Fulton County Magistrate Judge who granted the defendants $8,000 signature bonds,”
Shad Moss has since been released from jail. No word yet on Kiyomi.
UPDATE: Shad Moss’s Lawyer Released Statement:
Shad Moss’s Lawyer’s full statement on the matter, he also mentions that two witnesses of no relation to Shad Moss or Kiyomi Corroborate that she lost control, started attacking him, and was the primary aggressor, here’s his statement:
Shad Bow Wow Moss was wrongfully arrested earlier this morning for the first time after being beaten by an out of control intoxicated female, Ms. Leslie Holden, in an Atlanta condominium. The only two independent witnesses both corroborated his version of events indicating that Ms. Holden was simply out of control and was without a doubt the primary aggressor. For no logical reason officers arrested both parties despite having clear-cut evidence that Bow Wow was the victim in the case. Ms. Holden beat him with a lamp, bit him on his side, and spit on him while Bow Wow continually made efforts to avoid her. Bow Wow suffered multiple injuries, some of which are visible in his mugshot. Ms. Holden’s mugshot on the other hand speaks for itself, despite her allegation to police that she broke a fingernail.
It has still not been reported whether or not Kiyomi Leslie Holden is out on bond, and she has still not commented on what happened.
