A black family firmly believes their child a hospital told them was dead, was actually given to a white couple years ago for adoption.
A man took to social media to ask the public for help after finding out there was a strong possibility his child was still alive.
St. Joseph Hospital of St. Paul Minnesota told the man and his family that his baby had passed away.
The family says they weren’t given a death certificate of any kind, and had to go pick the baby’s remains up at a funeral house after the hospital told them they accidentally cremated the body.
Here’s the post that was made online:
Here’s the photo of the baby in that post (the photo on the left is the baby in the black family’s posession, photo on the right is of the white family that the man posted side by side)
The white family has deleted all their social media and deleted their entire blog about their adoption process, where they documented that they received a call out of nowhere that there was a baby available to adopt, saying that day seemed like a “blur”:
The black man’s girlfriend says she reached out the white woman who told her she was in the hospital the same exact day they were told the baby had died.
Raela’s posts were deleted and his page was also taken down:
Peoples are believing the story because just a few days ago the same hospital, but a different branch located in Florida, “lost” the body of a whole other baby as well:
Raela posted the full story on their GoFundMe, his girlfriend, the woman who believes she’s the baby’s mother, explaining what happened:
The family has mobilized and are starting protests:
