An Amber Alert is out for 5-year-old Texas girl Maleah Davis. Her stepfather told police that he was kidnapped along with his son and his stepdaughter Maleah Davis, and says the kidnapper let him and his son go free, but kept Maleah.
An Amber Alert was issued Sunday morning, May 5th 2019 after Maleah Davis was kidnapped. Police say she was last seen wearing a pink bow in her hair, a light blue zip-up jacket, blue jeans, and sneakers.
Police say she was last seen at 9PM on Saturday night in a stolen pickup truck. Houston Police Department’s verified Twitter page said Maleah Davis was said by her stepfather to have been seen with three unknown males in a blue 2010 Chevrolet crew cab pickup truck.
The Stepfather says they were all kidnapped while they were walking. Three men allegedly grabbed them and threw him, his son, and his stepdaughter Maleah inside the pickup truck, and the kidnappers later decided to let him and his son go, but kept Maleah.
The Stepfather told police that the three men dropped him and his son off at in Sugar Land, but escaped with Maleah. The Stepfather’s name has not been released.
No license plate was issued for the pickup truck. Houston police said in a statement:
“The motive in the kidnapping incident and its original north Houston location are unknown at this time. Investigators have been interviewing family members throughout the morning,”
