A man who allegedly raped a 6-year-old girl was tracked down and burned alive by people in Mexico.
Alfredo Roblero was accused of raping a 6-year-old girl by the residents of the community of Faja de Oro in Mexico.
The girl, Jarid N. had been reported as missing Thursday night before her body was found by a roadside.
Roblero also allegedly decapitated the girl after raping her.
The police were called to arrest Roblero, but when they arrived they saw a group of the people of the town already there.
The police arrested Roblero and put him in their patrol vehicle, but the community surrounded the vehicle, opened the door and dragged Roblero out. The police officers allegedly let them do it.
The community then took Roblero to a nearby park, tied him to a pole, beat him relentlessly, then doused him with gasoline and burned him alive.
The Tapachula police allegedly came with them, stood there and did nothing to try and stop them, but watched as it happened.
The state police then arrived at the scene with forensic experts from the Chiapas Attorney General’s Office (FGE) to investigate.
The FGE stated that it would
“not allow the public to carry out justice by its own hand.”
