6ix9ine is facing 6 counts, 2 counts have a sentence of Life in Prison. Discharged Firearm while committing Crime.

6ix9ine was arrested sunday night with 3 of his former associates, one of them being his manager.

According to a 17 page indictment, 6ix9ine is facing 6 counts after being arrested for Racketeering charges, and firearm charges. One of the charges include discharging a firearm while committing a crime. The charge carries a possible life sentence, with a minimum of 25 years in prison. The charge is one of 2 charges, both carrying a maximum sentence of life in prison.

6ix9ine’s manager “Shottie” is also facing the same 6 counts.

According to prosecutors, Tekashi conspired to commit a number of crimes including drug deals, armed robberies and shootings.

Prosecutors say the crimes that were committed by Tekashi and his group were to protect their drug business, retaliate against gang rivals, and/or to promote Nine Trey’s rep on the streets.

The federal authorities believe that 6ix9ine and his crew, which includes his former manager and 2 other members of the “Nine Trey Bloods”, committed an armed robbery on April 3rd, where they robbed a rival gang at gun point. The indictment also mentions the April 21 shooting incident at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and points to Fuguan Lovick as the gunman.

The investigation was a join effort between  ATF, NYPD and Homeland Security. The federal authorities also say that Tekashi and his crew were selling heroin, fentanyl, MDMA and marijuana all over NYC.

Tekashi has been denied bail for now and will remain in custody pending trial.
